CRAMES

The CRAMES Model:

Chartered

A legal document designed to convey official status as the only genuine website on the Internet representing the City or Village that issues the Charter. This document is legally generated by the body empowered to represent the Residents and can be revoked with it's authority at anytime if the website fails to properly represent and/or serve the Community.

Relevant

The content of the website is to be exclusively relevant to the Community

Authoritative

The content of the Website is to have the Authority to compel readers to take direction and assume validity

Managed

Website is to be actively managed to insure the accurate and relevant nature of the website content

Embraced

Website is recognized and adopted as owned and embraced by the residents of the Community

Sustainable

Website is to encourage sponsorship revenue to reward fresh and valuable content, and incent the Editor to maintain the quality and freshness of the content

We learned that the absense of any one of the above elements will render an attempt at a Community Website lame and unworthy of any investment of time or treasure. The lack of Community investment in their website, will waste the Community attention and in a small Community it is likely to be very difficult if not impossible to recover.

For this reason, the CRAMES Model is the essence of every Nebraska Community Website Project www.NCWP.org

Both CRAMES and NCWP are Trademarks of Nebraska Community Websites Project LLc

The Community Member Value Proposition  (Old & New)

Originally the Community Member Value Proposition was: In exchange for a Revocable Charter we will create for your Village/City a permanent beautiful website, and a Weekly Newsletter - to help communicate the unique quality of life you enjoy, to help attract families and businesses to call your community their new forever home. In 2000 this was an amazing unique proposition and the network grew quickly. Since 2000 things like Facebook made access to the internet very common and expected, so we needed to enhance the Value Proposition - and effective 7/1/2017 the new offering was announced. Small rural communities have multiple opportunities to place content on the internet, but we are now providing an opportunity to monetize the internet - as an addition to the Bake Sales' the Fish Fries we are now providing the 5-5-5 program. Ad revenues from Community Websites are donated 5% to the Community, 5% to the Newsletter Editor that creates the Weekly Newsletter, and 5% to a Community Organization (VFD, Boosters, Churches, Food Banks) on an ongoing basis! As this new model grows we will need creative people to help us to be the best we can be! Interested? Contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots.
