The most important part of this project is the people that represent the various Communities as Community Newsletter Editors. As a starting point we have concluded that small is good, and that we have most to contribute to a Community that has but a single Postal ZIPcode. More than that, and our services are not as special and valuable and consequently our essential CRAMES model is incomplete.

The responsibility that the Editors have is to listen and record the large and the small goings-on in the Community and to submit their news weekly for posting on the Community Website so that it can be enjoyed by everyone.

This Editors work is completed by folks that love their Community, and believe in the value and quality that is life in small town Nebraska.

In addition to the thanks, recognition and support from the Community itself Editor's may be eligible for a weekly stipend. In larger communities that have a Principal Sponsor for funding, Editors receive a small stipend to help with their weekly expenses. Regardless of the Communities size; Editors/Caretakers receive 5% Ad Revenue Share - Effective 7/1/2017 - Ads that are purchased on our 16 Community Websites will have 5% of the ad revenues set asside to help the Editors continue the work of creating the Weekly Community Newsletter. Stipend Payments are also made to Community Editors in Communities with a Principal Sponsor on the following schedule: Editor Stipends are Paid $25 per Approved Newsletter Due at 8:01am Central TIme each Tuesday Morning for posting on or before 6am each Wednesday morning.

Preferred submission would be Monday Afternoon so that changes or acceptance issues can be handled, corrected and re-submission can occur before the deadline. Stipends are Payable on Last Wednesday of the Month at the end of the day via Check. Unless arrangements are made to pick up the check, it will be mailed that evening. Arrangements can be made by calling 866-932-4774 to pick up a check in Louisville.

The Community Member Value Proposition  (Old & New):

Originally in 2000 the Community Member Value Proposition was: In exchange for a Revocable Charter we will create for you a permanent beautiful website, and a Weekly Newsletter - to help communicate the unique quality of life you enjoy, to help attract families and businesses to call your community their new forever home. In 2000 this was an amazing unique proposition and the network grew quickly. Since 2000 things like Facebook made access to the internet very common and expected, so we needed to enhance the Value Proposition - and effective 7/1/2017 the new offering was announced. Small rural communities have multiple opportunities to place content on the internet, but we are now providing an opportunity to monetize the internet - as an addition to the Bake Sales' the Fish Fries we are now providing the 5-5-5 program. Ad revenues from Community Websites are donated 5% to the Community, 5% to the Newsletter Editor that creates the Weekly Newsletter, and 5% to a Community Organization (VFD, Boosters, Churches, Food Banks) on an ongoing basis! As this new model grows we will need creative people to help us to be the best we can be! Interested? Contact us at This email address is being protected from spambots. CRAMES

The CRAMES Model:

Chartered

A legal document designed to convey official status as the only genuine website on the Internet representing the City or Village that issues the Charter. This document is legally generated by the body empowered to represent the Residents and can be revoked with it's authority at anytime if the website fails to properly represent and/or serve the Community.

Relevant

The content of the website is to be exclusively relevant to the Community

Authoritative

The content of the Website is to have the Authority to compel readers to take direction and assume validity

Managed

Website is to be actively managed to insure the accurate and relevant nature of the website content

Embraced

Website is recognized and adopted as owned and embraced by the residents of the Community

Sustainable

Website is to encourage sponsorship revenue to reward fresh and valuable content, and incent the Editor to maintain the quality and freshness of the content

We learned that the absense of any one of the above elements will render an attempt at a Community Website lame and unworthy of any investment of time or treasure. The lack of Community investment in their website, will waste the Community attention and in a small Community it is likely to be very difficult if not impossible to recover.

For this reason, the CRAMES Model is the essence of every Nebraska Community Website Project www.NCWP.org

Both CRAMES and NCWP are Trademarks of Nebraska Community Websites Project LLc

Membership in Nebraska Community Websites

Nebraska Community Websites has been a Nebraska Business in good standing since May of 2000.

Based in Louisville Nebraska, the first Community Website; www.LouisvilleNebraska.com was presented to the (at that time) Village of Louisville (now City of Louisville) as a Millennium Gesture during their annual Louisville Daz festival May 2000.

Since that day, we have been invited to become part of many communities large and small. Over the years we have learned what works, and what doesn't and we have refined our methods for maximum return on investment.

As a starting point we have concluded that small is good, and that we have most to contribute to a Community that has but a single Postal ZIPcode. More than that, and our services are not as valuable and consequently our essential CRAMES model is incomplete.

The Process:

If you believe that a professionally managed website would benefit your Community, and your local Newspaper is no longer serving the needs of the residents; and if you have only One ZIPcode: you are cordially invited to Apply For Membership! We have concluded that small is good, and that we have most to contribute to a Community that has but a single Postal ZIPcode. More than that, and our services are not as valuable and consequently or essential CRAMES model is incomplete.

When we receive the Membership Application, we will reach out to you and provide much needed answers to many questions. We will ask it there is an opportunity to petition your City Council, or Village Board for a Revokable Charter of Authenticity which is the currency that you provide us in exchange for the labor, expertise, bandwidth, hosting and all other expenses associated with the permanent sustainable development of your new Community Website.

The Charter

Once a Charter has been granted we will help you to develop a launch date, typically around an important traditional Community date. We will seek out an Editor to help shepherd the project and we will train, and provide all the tools to create the first Newsletter.

Sponsorship

The authenticity and the opportunity to associate directly with the Genuine Community Website will typically attract one or more Sponsors. (local Businesses that wish to Advertise) and that provides the ability to compensate the Editor which always results in an overall better project, but it is not essential. We have many excellent projects where the Editor provides their services Pro bono based on love of the Community and community recognition that flows from their work.

The Network

Belonging to the Network of Community Websites provides visibility and support for the Editor and the progress of the Community.
